Flying Horse
Flying Horse once again earns the Gold award for Best Home Development in the Gazette’s Best of the Springs 2017. Flying Horse is "The best place to live. The Club is outstanding. A peaceful, beautiful setting coupled with very friendly neighbors."
The Flying Horse vision began taking shape in 2004 and for the past 13 years, our development team and community builders have been turning that vision into reality. Today, Flying Horse is comprised of a dozen neighborhood villages and is home to just over 1,200 households. The most recent neighborhood village to open in the community is The Village of Cortona, a quaint enclave that offers newly designed paired patio homes built by award-winning homebuilder, Classic Homes. Also worth noting is the fact that the team at Classic was named the Best Home Builder in the 2017 Best Of The Springs; this year marks the 10th year in a row that Classic Homes has earned this prestigious designation in Colorado Springs.
The crown jewel in the community landscape continues to be The Club at Flying Horse, where you'll find the 18-hole Tom Weiskopf Championship Golf Course, a Euro-style Athletic Club & Spa and an award-winning Clubhouse. in November 2015, Flying Horse opened its boutique 40-room Lodge and four luxurious independent 2-bedroom Villas with joining parlors. That same month, The Steakhouse at Flying Horse opened, offering Members, guests of The Lodge and the public the opportunity to dine at Colorado Springs' only north end Steakhouse. For more than 10 years, access to The Club and its amenities was limited to Members of The Club, the opening of The Lodge and The Steakhouse represents a key milestone in the legend of Flying Horse. One that we hope creates lasting enjoyment for those who come to stay, play or ultimately live in Flying Horse. So thank you Colorado Springs, for selecting Flying Horse as Colorado Springs' single BEST HOME DEVELOPMENT for the 2nd year in a row. We appreciate your vote of confidence!
